the final!!

Next day we had physical sciences exam ( tnpcee ).. but Man and sridhar rao cam ehome to see with me the finals of the champions league .... it was Arsenal vs Barcelona !!!!!!!!!!
Sridhar Rao , a crazy gunners fan .. Sidd who wanted Barcelona to win d cup and myself who wished Barcelona should win it just because i like MANU ( implies i dont like Arsenal !! ) sat down to see the game ....

The game started at 12.15 IST ..... there was a good atmosphere developing when Henry missed a goal from near the 6-yard box .... sigh of relief for me... then after 18mins came the Referee's super decision ( no one considers hm now as a Ref. ) ... lehmann was sent off afgter barca had taken d advantage and scored the goal .. this brought down the intensity of the game .........
Before the half time whistle here eas another super moment when Eboue made a great dive and claimed a foul through which arsenal got the lead .... 10-man Arsenal were leading and suddenly the barca defence looked brittle .... ( sridhar started believing this day was arsenal's )
.. In the second half .. Larsson came in which naturally stirred up the tie... All was going well for the gunners ( henry was creating magics with his foot ( but mssing all )) .. suddenly barca looked like turning it around .. couple of chances were stringed together .... and then came their first goal .. and there came the first smile on my face that night !!!! ( offside was it ?? WHO CARES ))
... i was confident that arsenal wont get another goal with 10men ... when suddenly Almunia did the greatest thing in his life by pushing the ball which was goin way off target into the goal and there started the celebrations ................................ ( sridhar was down ... ) ....

The day was marked by the Ref.'s crazy decisions and some super PRO soccer from ronaldinho,henry , eto'o and others .............. a great game ..... Barca 2-1 Arsenal !!!!!!

My first day - CRICKET !

The day I joined cricket in my school ... I did not know whether I would be able to hold the bat... like everyone else I used to play cricket with my mouth well ( infact very well )... talk about sachin's batting without knowing how to hit a straight drive.... I was in 4th grade in my school and i joined the cricket academy ... Being the first day .. we played a tennis ball match !!!! I knew that ppl would definitely laugh at my batting class!!!!! .. so decided to have a go with ball !!!!!!! First over I got a wicket ... in a moment I realised what hugging in the cricket field meant ??? I wondered why those players hug each other when they sweating like hell ( i felt it horrible at first )..... i realised how it was to inspire a team of 11 ( imagine how gr8 it is to inspire a million!!!! ) .....

Ahah!!! It was an awesome day as they had found out an excellent new-ball bowler for their team ( like Oliver Wood got Harry as seeker ) !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
!!!!!!!!! I started to realise I was a bit gifted and .... here started my cricketing life ..............

The school ( and me 2 ) did not know that I had a lot more in me than just a bowler......
